Teance Fine Teas
Teance is a landmark, destination tea shop in Berkeley, CA serving the finest artisan teas in the U.S. Located in Berkeley’s upscale Fourth Street shopping district, it is a sky-lit, transcendent environment of sustainable bamboo cabinetry, raked plaster walls and handmade glazed porcelain tiles.
Grounding this unique space is a 10-ft circular concrete tea sampling bar. Cast in a single pour and embedded with semi-precious gemstones and fossils, this signature feature invites visitors to sit, sip, and enjoy the subtleties of Teance fine teas, the design of the bar and the garden-like setting.
Project Scope: Create a warm and welcoming space that evokes an artisanal quality for customers to enjoy learning about, and sipping, fine teas.
